FIN4GOOD – Educational Pathway to Applied Microfinance

Fin4Good is a European project coordinated by the University of Bologna and funded under the Erasmus+ programme. The initiative promotes an innovative educational pathway in applied microfinance and social finance, aimed at training professionals capable of combining economic and financial expertise with managerial skills and a strong awareness of social impact.

The project fosters an experiential learning ecosystem through the use of interactive digital tools and innovative teaching methods. In particular, it develops an online training platform and a serious game that simulates real-world microfinance scenarios, enabling students to engage with complex decision-making processes and to understand the operational challenges of inclusive finance.

In addition to its educational dimension, Fin4Good includes a Virtual Summer Programme designed to enhance international cooperation and the exchange of best practices among students, academics, and practitioners.

The partnership brings together the University of Bologna (Italy), the Yunus Foundation (Italy), the University of Agder (Norway), the Academy of Entrepreneurship Astiki Etaireia (Greece), the University “Aleksandër Xhuvani” (Albania), and the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Together, the partners contribute to building a European network dedicated to promoting sustainable, ethical, and inclusive finance in support of social and territorial development.
